Places are memories and I take pleasure in a home or a favorite building where I have enjoyed some wonderful family moments and jolly good times. I define chapters of my life by where I’ve lived and the house I was in at the time. Having lived on three different continents, I recall life stages by the place, environment and surroundings that encompassed that moment of my life.
The shape and lines of a building or a house fascinate me and I can’t help imagining what is on the inside and what intriguing stories or mysteries are hidden in the walls and behind the windows. Here are some of the buildings that made an impact on me and my life, and some that have been commissioned because they were important to the families that lived in them.
