Royal Manor, named for the street this house lived on, is a wooded idyll and beloved family home with magical memories seeping from every nook and crevice of its architecture and every hideaway spot in its backyard, such as: the burning book bonfire once school was out, the secret space under the basement stairwell for daydreaming and hiding from siblings, creek stomping in the woods, stalking the cedar-loving woodpecker with a BB gun, and 7th grade team backyard basketball hosted by Papa O in his referee shirt. The entertainment and enjoyment this house provided will be remembered in the minds of many family members for many years to come.
